Who we are

The MS Trust is a charity which works with and for the 85,000 people in the UK with MS. Our vision is to enable people with MS to live their lives to the full. We provide:

  • information that is tailored to what people want to know
  • education for health professionals about what people with MS need
  • research into better management of MS
  • support for anyone affected by MS

What we do

Enquiries:

  • The core of what the MS Trust do is our personal information service. We believe that people with MS should be actively involved in the management of their condition.
  • Our focus is on health information, but people can ask us anything about MS. If we are unable to find an answer ourselves we will try to direct them to organisations best able to help.

Education:

  • The MS Trust believes that informed health professionals are a significant resource for people with MS
  • We therefore invest in the education of health professionals to increase skills and development at a general and specialist level.

Research:

  • The MS Trust is committed to funding research which brings essential therapies to people who have to cope with MS every day of their lives, or which demonstrates how better services can be provided.

We could not continue to provide these services without the generosity and hard work of our supporters – thank you!

More than 85,000 people in the UK have multiple sclerosis.
A donation of just £10 could enable the MS Trust information to team to research and reply to a personal enquiry from someone recently diagnosed with MS.
At present, there is no cure for MS but this certainly doesn't mean that the symptoms of MS cannot be treated.
