Did you know 1 in 3 children in London live below the poverty line?

London is not only one of the wealthiest cities in the world, it is also home to thousands of children living with effects of abuse, poverty, homelessness, disability, and illness. Help a London Child provides opportunities to disadvantaged and vulnerable children and young people, by supporting grass-roots projects in our capital city.

Over the last 34 years Help a London Child has provided over £20 million of support to 10,000 groups reaching over 1 million children.

To keep this vital work going we need your support!

We are working with ShP Solutions to turn old phones into money. For every phone you donate to Help a London Child, we will receive at least £3.

Your old mobile mobiles are anything but useless to us. They could fund:

        
  • An outing to the seaside for group of young carers, who spend their lives looking after a parent or sibling and rarely get time to have fun.    
  • Swimming lessons for young people with physical disabilities who find it impossible to take part in mainstream sports.    
  • An adventure playground for children living on an inner-city housing estate, who literally have nowhere else to play.
