Help for Heroes
registered charity no:1120920

Help for Heroes is an appeal set up by Bryn and Emma Parry to support the wounded servicemen and women from the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our aim is to raise a lot of money to help improve facilities at Headley Court, the rehabilitation centre near Leatherhead, Surrey. It urgently needs a full size swimming pool and gym complex and funds raised will directly benefit those who have been wounded, in particular amputees, who at the moment have to use a public swimming pool in the full glaze of the public.

We are strictly non-political; we just want to get on with raising a great deal of money, and since its launch on 1st October Help for Heroes has raised over one million pounds. We are a very “light” charity and rely on a fantastic group of volunteers who run our charity office in Tidworth, Hampshire, home to many Regiments who are either away on operations or who have just returned. We rely on the generosity of companies to provide essential equipment, and to date have the use of an office for a year free of charge, the loan of computers and telephones and have had half a million leaflets printed for free.

You can do your bit by recycling your old mobile phone and help raise even more money to support our wounded heroes.
